This public preview release is for System Center Management Pack for Azure SQL Database Managed Instance.

The Management Pack (CTP) for Microsoft Azure SQL Database – Managed Instance enables you to monitor availability and performance of your Managed Instances.

This management pack provides monitoring quite similar to monitoring of on-premises SQL Server provided by the version-agnostic SQL Server MP. Managed Instance specific monitoring will be added in the future versions of this MP.

Managed Instance will show up as first level folder under Monitoring on your SCOM console.
