Project Rigel

Does anyone from MS have updates on Project Rigel?  It was announced as an initative back in March https://blogs.office.com/2016/03/09/expanding-the-reach-of-skype-for-business-meetings-and-voice-ser... and certainly got a number of our users excited.  However, since then there have been no updates from any of the vendors in public or private.   I know the schedule was 'second half of 2016' but normally there are slivers of information between the initial annoucement and product release.   It'd be nice to hear a 'yes, we're on track to launch on the same timeframes', 'no its been pushed back' or even 'its been cancelled'.

With Ignite only a few weeks away, hopefully we might see some content coming out then maybe. Would be a good time to preview it.

The messaging at Microsoft APC (Aus Partner Conference) just this week was consistent the the initial message - in that it is expected in the 2nd Half of 2016. No other info was provided unfortunately.

Thanks for bringing this up! Project Rigel was mentioned and demonstrated at ignite during Gurdeep's Keynote. You can watch it here https://youtu.be/L0Wvc6qYnuQ. (Starts at 14:20 but the entire keynote is worth a watch)

Project Rigel is on track and is expected to be availalbe in the next 30 to 60 days. Initially there will be a single hardware partner but others are in the works.

Thanks for the updates everyone. Just working through the various Ignite videos.  Liking the Logitech SP4 caddy with the HDMI capture capability.   Can't wait to try and get these into our business.
