Just need to know if having a Blog (subsite) serve as the homepage of an Intranet Publishing site is good practice? The default.aspx is redirected to this blog subsite for both the Intranet and Extranet sites.
The Extranet has broke down twice this month. Never happened before and no history of performance issues as the site does not have much content and only a few subsites. The only weird thing to indicate that it's broken is that after login, it shows as a blank page -- no error message.
