Is it possible to apply custom sorting for search results native web part?
I need to sort search results items alphabetically and by a custom managed property. I tried adding a sort order in the default sort dropdown of the Search Results web part by mapping the Title property to a RefinableString since the Title property is not sortable by default. I have read this implementation in some articles online. However, the results are not sorted accurately as expected, some block of results are sorted correctly, some are not.
Are there configurations needed to be done before adding a sort order on the dropdown? Please advise help,
