How to show storage used by subsites in SharePoint Online
We are running out of available storage in SharePoint online. Before buying new storage, we want to check is some subsites are overdue and can be deleted. We also want to see how much of data they use. We prefere to use powershell.
Site url is something like https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/teamsites

I don't use Powershell, so this may not be the way you want to obtain subsite size, but you can get it in the UI through Site Settings -> Storage Metrics (may be under Site Collection Administration).
