Hi everybody Our technical writer, Carol Bailey, is letting you know what's new and hot in the docs for this month. Dan (on behalf of the Information Protection team) The Documentation for Azure Rights Management has been updated on the web and the latest content has a June 2016 (or later) date at the top of the article. Thank you for all your feedback and support for our new documentation site, docs.microsoft.com . It's great to see localized documentation on there now, with additional languages coming soon. In case you haven't spotted it, you can easily change your language selection by using the drop down on the right top of the page. Remember, if you have feedback about the site design, use the Site Feedback page. What's new in the documentation for Azure Rights Management, June 2016

The following information lists the articles that have significant technical changes since the last update (May 2016). If you have problems finding information on the new publishing site, let us know and we will help you locate it while the search engines index these new pages. Frequently Asked Questions for Azure RMS - New entries: Information and support for Azure Rights Management - Updated the Support options and community resources section, with instructions on how to contact Microsoft Support and additional resource links. Azure RMS quick start Step 1: Activate the Rights Management service - Updated with a note for Office 365 customers who are using the preview version of the Office 365 admin center. Also clarified that to activate Azure RMS from the management portals, you must sign in with a global administrator account. Monitor the Azure Rights Management connector - New article, which contains information to help you monitor the RMS connector after it is deployed, by using event log entries, performance counters, the RMS Analyzer, and logging. Logging and analyzing Azure Rights Management usage - Updated for information related to customer-managed tenant keys - the "bring your own key" or BYOK scenario. This includes a name change for the request types of SignDigest to KMSPSignDigest , and from Decrypt to KMSPDecrypt . Rights Management sharing application: Version release history - Updated for the recent release, Version 1.0.2191.0 .
