BrittMorgan , I do wonder if the reason we aren't seeing the August blog post is also related to the reason we are getting no details on the new People View feature and, for me at least, it seems to be taking a lot longer for them to roll out this month than other features. Maybe some unexpected error was encountered during rollout? I know a lot of people on here and other places have asked for details but I haven't seen anything from Microsoft Project Team so far.

Microsoft Project Team can you provide this user base with an update on features coming out (no blog update from August) and clarity around the roadmap for P4W?  The Microsoft roadmap, when filtered for P4W, is scarce and many users are starting to be concerned about longevity of the product as we begin to look at other vendors.

In addition, the powerBI templates are almost non-functional at times and we cannot simply report on our portfolio without having to learn the details of PowerBI.  PLEASE get better reporting directly in the P4W solution or improve the powerBI templates.  

AlexB ref the Project Accelerator, it's a decent starter if for nothing else than generating ideas for what else you might want to build out around P4W.
It's a managed solution so making changes is done via a solution layer on top, that took me half a day to get my head around but is simple enough for basic things like changing Project Types or moving surplus fields off the forms.

The snag with P4W isn't the Accelerator itself but that many of the features only work if it is deployed in the default environment.

The attraction of a project management tool built around the Power Platform is the opportunity for extending it. In order to do that, one should deploy to a named environment. That's Microsoft's recommendation. By doing so you lose most of the best new features like templates, integrated chat and so on and on.

That contradiction is very frustrating to me. So it's not the Accelerator I find disappointing, it's the loss of features.

• People View in Project for the web ~ This feature will allow users to visualize and balance their team’s workload easily through the People view. 

 Would love some additional information about this as well. I'm currently getting my butt kicked by Power BI, trying to build out a report that effectively shows P4W resource loading broken out on a weekly basis. If this will fill that need it would be 1 - Fantastic! 2 - great because I can stop trying to make Power BI do it.

You do not need the accelerator to import a project. Just open P4W in Power Apps, and in the top menu you will find the option 'Import' with a drop down. You can also create one or more projects, exclude them from any report / view and create new projects form those (via copy project). Works fine for us. 

AndrewNorris I saw lots of bad feedback about accelerator, has it got any better?

What's the timing for more robust dependencies? Project for the Web is unusable for me at the moment because this basic feature is lacking. It doesn't appear on the roadmap currently. My fortune 500 company is investigating other options because this isn't available.

AlexB Looks like that can be done in the interface if using the Project Accelerator

It sounds like to have this view then you would need to be able to consolidate tasks across projects.
