SharePoint List PowerApp from Blank Tablet Template

When creating a PowerApp from a SharePoint list using the PowerApps > Create an App from the modern UI, the PowerApps link is automatically added to the list's view dropdown (see image below).  I don't, however, want to use the phone layout so I created a new PowerApp against the list using a blank tablet layout.

  • Is there a way to add the PowerApps' link manually to the list view dropdown when a PowerApp is not created from the list menu?

As far as I know if you don't like the phone layout you can change to tablet layout in File>Screen Size & Orientation. Hope this helps.

One thing you could try is to create a 'dummy' list view so that it shows up in the drop down and then when navigating to that view  have Javascript in a script editor web part redirect to launch the PowerApp using its url. This is a workaround.
