Planner tab in Microsoft Teams now includes the Schedule view and Charts view

When we released the first version of the Planner tab in Teams, we noted that our goal was to support the same feature set in Teams as we do in the Planner web app.  We recently took another step towards our goal and have completed the roll out of a few more popular features from the web.

  • Schedule view - get an overview of upcoming tasks and drag and drop them to set dates


  • Charts view - stay up to date on the status of your plans 
    Planner Charts View
  • Filter and Group by options - focus on key tasks and group by Assigned To, Progress, Due Date, and Labels

    Can i view my schedule using the planner app on my phone, i cant find the button

    it is good,however, schedule view is lack of resource details.

    I want to view the team members tasks allocation for this week ,but I can only see entire team planned tasks,again I will have to check separately to whom the task was assigned. 

    Happy to use if there is any alternative option in MS team or am I missing any feature in existing MS Planner.

    What about an actual timeline view, seems

    Like  a major Oversight 

    .

     

    i want to view activities on a traditional timeline (MSP timeline) 

     

    is the functionality in Planner already and I just haven’t seen it?

     

    if not can you consider for an upcoming release.

     

    also dependencies ??

    Confirm what petro_din said,  it has been gone, and now it's back. 

    It would be nice to have some notification upfront for these changes.

    And like thunderstrike from blue sky.. this morning, Board/Chart/Schedule views is again available from teams..

    Would  be nice to have somekind of notification if those there is something like this around..

    I have the same issue.  In the time being, my IT deparment found a workaround. That is, the web app of Microsoft Planner still has the Dashboard and Schedule views, so you can go there to see if it works for you as well. https://tasks.office.com/

    ErayC Any idea why this issue is happening? My team makes frequent use of the Planner tab in Teams and the loss of the Board/Chart/Schedule views is causing some headaches.
