SharePoint folder Site with OneDrive for Busines Sync

We're utilizing SharePoint folde Sites with OneDrive for Business Sync on Windows. Several users are noticing files listed under Recent which they have not accessed. Is this a Windows 10/11 glitch? Resetting OneDrive alleviates the issue; temporarily.
