Will Microsoft’s Fundraising Template App Be Supported Long-Term?
Since Microsoft retired the Fundraising and Engagement app, they’ve introduced template apps for partners and customers to build solutions. Over the past year, we did lot of customizations on top of the Fundraising and Engagement app, and we’re now considering moving these customizations and needed functionality to the ‘Fundraising’ template app. However, we’re concerned about long-term stability. Can Microsoft confirm if there’s any risk of these templates being retired or delisted? This would help us and others plan with greater confidence.111Views3likes3CommentsProblems logging in to Microsoft non-profit
Hello everyone, I have signed up our non-profit organization for Microsoft Non-Profit and it was approved. In the approval-mail I was instructed to go to the "non-profit hub" to sign in and select the plans we would like to use. Unfortunately, when I try to log in at the non-profit hub, I am redirected to a blank page with just a loading circle spinning for all eternity (I've let it spin for 3 hours at one time). I've tried different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) as well as different devices, the result remains the same. The username and password are correct - the former was additionally given in the approval-mail, the latter was checked several times. Is there another way to select the plans for our non-profit organization? Thanks in advance.88Views0likes5CommentsQuestion for small nonprofits
If you work for a small (5-20 people) nonprofit or charity organisation, what types of information are you capturing using Excel spreadsheets (or paper)? This might include your volunteers, program participants, donors, assets, clients, etc. What other data are you managing? Have you tried finding off-the-shelf solutions to help you with managing it?57Views0likes1CommentHow do I get started
Hello, I am new here and still trying to figure out how to get started. The process has been quite challenging for me. I have logged into the Nonprofit Hub and navigated to the Product Comparison section, but I’m not sure what to do next. In fact, the page is prompting me to make a purchase and is directing me to enter my credit card details. I’m unsure how to proceed, especially since we’ve already been approved for nonprofit grants and discounts from Microsoft. Could someone please guide me on how to get started without needing to make a payment? Thank you so much for your help!32Views0likes1CommentService cancelled or not?
Hello. Maybe you can help me, to find something out. First how the problem started: We registered for non-profit in november this year and got checked from techsoup, which was no problem. We transfered all mailboxes and used 6 licences. But one notebook was not able to login. So I opened a ticket with the problem. I got some mails with "we are working on it" etc... and the last mail was "your service was cancelled with enddate of actual period". No chance to get a reason why (only because of a result of internal processes). Login was not possible anymore. So I started to transfer again. This time to G.... No problem Meanwhile last week I got a "tell us uf your experience" from Microsoft and gave 1 star was a bad comment. Today I got an newsletter, clicked on it and could login to non profit?? Where can I see, it my non-profit is now cancelled or not? I can't find any enddate..23Views0likes1Comment2 versions of Volunteer Management...
I discovered the hard way that there are two versions of Volunteer Management out there. They look very similar, but the way they denote Volunteers in Contacts is different: in one, the picklist column (field) Primary Constituent Type [msnfp_PrimaryConstituentType] is set to 'Volunteer'; in the other, the Y/N column Volunteer [msnfp_volunteer] is set to 'Y'. Both columns exist in the nfp version of Contacts. Forms and Views set up for one approach obviously won't work for the other. The version of Volunteer Management that is currently (11/24) installed by Cloud Solution Manager uses the 'Y/N' method. The other is (I suspect) what got installed earlier in '24 when I first installed NonProfit Accelerator and asked to include the sample apps. Both showed up in my list of apps, including in mobile. My initial reaction: D'oh! Doesn't a Unified Constituent approach suggest that the method should be the same across all apps, and not a one-off in this app? I can see advantages to both...but... My rec: if you combine the latest VolMgmt with any other Dynamics/Dataverse-based app, either write a flow that also sets the Constituent type, or pay close attention to your filters when you view or report around your Contacts. Sigh. ps: if I'm right about the sample app, has it been updated more recently for consistency? thx50Views0likes3CommentsThe Innovation for Social Good Program

I have tried time and again to download Microsoft 365 for non-profits. I was approved 1 year ago, and after trying dozens of times, still no progress. When I search for help, I get nothing useful from Microsoft. I therefore keep using Word for Windows 2010 because I have no other workable choice at this point.68Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft 365 Backup - Azure Grant
Hi, I'm working for a small non-profit here in the UK, and they've recently received the Azure $2000 grant. Does anyone know if the grant can be used with Microsoft 365 Backup provided through Microsoft Syntex. It says you need an Azure subscription for the pay-as-you-go billing, but it doesn't appear on the list of Azure services. My organization's Board of Directors uses Vieth (CPanel) for our email domain and server. We are hiring a new Executive Director and want to purchase Microsofit 365 for nonprofits to provide her with everything to be successful, including the same email domain as the Board. I've heard that if I switch the email domain into Microsoft, then no emails will go into the original email provider. Does this only happen to the individual email that was moved over to Microsoft, or to all of them? Our ideal situation: - email address removed for privacy reasons is on Microsoft 365 with Outlook and sends/receives emails - email address removed for privacy reasons is on Vieth (CPanel) and sends/receives emails I want to avoid a situation the discontinues the ability for our Board members to continue using the original domain if it is overridden by the Microsoft one. I hope this was clear! I appreciate and reassurance or guidance. Thank you in advance!80Views0likes1Commentproblems with non-profit verification
After registering, I was contacted by Microsoft support (verification department) and asked for additional information: We are from the verification department, and we need additional information to properly resolve the problem you are experiencing. To help us resolve your case, we need to verify both your identity and your association with the non-profit organization for which you are requesting sponsorship. Please provide us with the necessary documentation to facilitate this verification process, which will allow us to quickly resolve your issue. Please provide the following additional information, among other relevant details: Organizational URL/website – if applicable A photo or scanned copy of your employee identification card Government-issued documentation not publicly available concerning your Nonprofit Organization Confirmation email from your nonprofit organization's domain, affirming that you are acting on their behalf and outlining your association with the organization, etc. If you have any additional information that you consider relevant for our consideration, please include it in your response. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and eagerly anticipate your prompt reply. If we do not receive a response within the next 48 hours, regrettably, the case will be closed. I provided my organization's website and my email address at the organization so they can contact me, so I can verify I can receive email at my organization's domain. I wasn't able to provide the other information because my organization doesn't have employee id cards. I also asked what specific government issued documentation was requested, because the request was nondescript. The response I got back was: Thank you again for reaching out and for applying for nonprofit status with Microsoft. However, we have been unable to determine the veracity of the account details you have provided and are unable to process your account for offers through the Nonprofit Portal. We will be archiving this ticket at this time. Should you disagree with this assessment, please feel free to open a new ticket with additional verifiable documentation. This was disappointing. The ticket was closed without me really knowing what it was about or me given a reasonable chance to provide what was requested. Any advice?561Views0likes4CommentsSomething went wrong

Hello, I have a problem to access the Non-Profit Hub. The login is successful (via MS authenticator) but the redirect to the home page of Non-Profit Hub fails and I get an error that I am not allowed to go ahead at the moment. I opened two cases and both where closed because the responsible support team member told me that I hadn't been able to provide any documents to verify my identity and association with the Nonprofit organization. I don't understand why I has to provide that information because the login was successful and all my contact information where stored in the MS account of our organization. But for both cases (2404100040001826, 2404170040002248) we had provided infomation about my assocation (email sent to me by MS Non Profit, just before problem happens, to approve the sponsorship of our organization and a business letter of our organization to describe my assocation). Without this support I am not able to request the Office 365 licenses and the MS Azure feature we want to use. Any idea how to solve the deadlock?914Views1like8CommentsPower Pages - Move to Azure App Service?
Hi all, A NonProfit we're helping are developing their website in Power Pages and “want to host it in Azure App Service”, I assume to make better use of grants. I see there are a couple of features in Preview that support some degree of code customization: Creating new Power Pages sites in Bootstrap version 5.2.2 is now Generally Available - Microsoft Power Platform Blog But from what I’ve seen, it’s not possible to export a Power Page to any codebase with full integrated functionality from the Power Pages portal but rather disconnected code snippets. Do we have a Power Pages expert here who might confirm or deny my suspicions and whether this request is feasible at all? Thank you all for reading.169Views0likes1Comment
