I have a customer that wants to host an NCE license. What are my options? Ingram says no but won't show me how they arrived at that answer. I have seen docs on ms.com that state NCE was to make cloud adoption easier and that NCE licenses replaced Volume Licenses with SA. Just need clarification.
Ideal scenario for me was to host under SPLA Windows Server and use clients NCE SQL. If this is not a option I can I lease bare metal and they bring NCE licenses?
Appreciate any feedback..

Hi @CageCube,
Due to the introduction of the "Flexible Virtualization Benefit", it is probably best in your scenario if you purchase the SQL licenses as software subscriptions.

What is the Flexible Virtualization Benefit?
Customers with subscription licenses or Licenses with active Software Assurance (including CALs) may use licensed copies of the software on devices, including shared Servers, that are under the day-to-day management and control of Authorized Outsourcers.
