Further to the conversion of a batch of App-V packages to MSIX, I have experienced the “StartMenu folder skipped during conversion” Issue nicely blogged by Horatiu Vladasel and also by “Alexandru Marin”.
I know i can rectify the issue by these 3 steps:
- Declaring uap3 namespace in the <Package> node,
- Stating uap3 in ignorable name space
- Using the Visual Group tag at the end of visual element of the application
All good but I want to address this issue programmatically if possible as I will have raft of these to address:
I have found that part of this can be address with the excellent MSIXTweaker tool by Advanced installer . But was wondering if a way to completely do this via say Powershell.
Oh my tool set MPT, TMeditX and AdminStudio
