Now in Public preview & Targeted release: Breakout rooms participant shuffle

Microsoft

Breakout rooms participant shuffle delivers a new capability to randomly assign participants to rooms also after rooms are created. Participants can be randomly reassigned both prior to the meeting or during the live meeting.

Shuffling can be applied to all participants or only to unassigned participants, re-distributing them evenly to existing rooms.

@Jan_Steberl The "meet now" button has been removed from the General channel of teams.

The new button (with a plus) is only for scheduling.

Is this a bug or intentional? If intentional, why and how do you do "meet now"?

@bughit, thank you for this question. I have pinged the team responsible for channels to check it.

@Jan_Steberl

This is now being rolled out to the release channel (targeted), still without "meet now".

Is there any way to block this targeted release for a given user or the whole tennant?

What did the team responsible say about the missing "meet now" functionality?

@bughit "Meet now" issue is fixed, and update will reach to Targeted release users soon. Thanks for your understanding!
