Public Facing Microsoft Stream Live Event, (Not to be confused with Teams Live Event) - The option to create a streaming live event such as a YouTube type to embed in a SharePoint page. Option is not available. All users need to be authenticated to get to the video.

I figured this was different from the public videos idea that is being worked on.

We need a way to broadcast publicly and not just internally.

Otherwise we will have to use other vendors and products that can.

Teams with quick start can do it but I need to use an external encoder for our webcasts.

The option to password protect it with an auto-generated event code would be nice as well.

I have the same question, can we have a Microsoft Live Event within Microsoft Stream that can be accessed externally without sign-in and also embedded into public websites?
