We've had a busy summer at Microsoft as we get ready for our Ignite conference.  In advance, we wanted to recap some smaller  updates we've made to our business application integration for PowerApps and Microsoft Flow with SharePoint lists and libraries:

  • Flow/PowerApps connector - The connector now supports choice fields, lookup column, and people/group fields.  In early September, we also rolled out the ability to work with attachments for lists by adding some new actions to Flow.
  • Enhanced support for document libraries in the Flow connector - We introduced two new triggers  -  File creation (properties only) and file creation/modification (properties only) and three new actions – Get file properties, Get files (properties only) and Update file properties.  Learn more at our blog post on document library support.
  • Calculated field support for custom markup -- Back in June, we announced the removal of an undocumented workaround that allowed custom markup to be executed in SPO calculated fields.  Although this was unsupported and represents a risk to the integrity and performance of the platform, we gave customers the option to request the workaround be sustained through September 10, 2017.  We are pleased to announce a further extension, and custom markup in calculated fields when requested, will be sustained until February 28, 2018.

Looking forward to sharing even more at Ignite!
