It’s once again time to – you guessed it – Reconnect! This week in the profile hot seat is French tech expert Michaël Thibaut.
With more than 24 years of experience in IT, including 15 years in Microsoft partner services companies, the former Active Directories MVP now works for his own outfit.
Today, Michaël is the CEO of Human Beeing Consulting, a company which specializes in consulting, strategy, and expertise around digital transformation with Microsoft technologies. This includes supporting companies in their migration to Azure and O365 while securing their infrastructure and the various components involved in this hybridization.
The past two years have been a whirlwind for Michaël since moving with his family from Paris into the French Alps. Here, Michaël reports sharing his tech expertise with as many local companies and people as possible to build his own “little paradise”.
Moreover, Michaël has continued to develop his professional capabilities during this time with new certifications in Azure Security administrator, Azure administrator, Azure developer, Azure Devops, Azure Architect Expert, O365 modern desktop administrator, O365 Enterprise Administrator, and O365 Security administrator.
For Michaël, Reconnect offers the chance to feed his passion for sharing and stay in touch with fellow peers. “In my professional activity, during all projects where I'm in charge, it's an obsession for me to mentor young people to transmit to them all the values of the MVP spirit, namely, sharing and humility," Michaël says.
"In my personal life, meanwhile, I use my IT skills to help sports associations and people to realize their potential.”
Michaël recalls fondly his time as a Microsoft MVP, particularly events like Windows Betas where the tech expert relished the opportunity to influence the design and the end result of an operating system that he worked with every day.
He encourages all newcomers to the program to “enjoy every second of this moment of sharing and keep forever the values dear to MVPs: humility, benevolence, hard work.”
