The type of questions on the renewal exams seem to be heavily focused on memorization and trivia. I have recently renewed several certifications and all of the exams had questions about things like how many days (30, 60 or 90) or which item to do first. These type of questions do not help evaluate our knowledge of new features in the products.
I have also had multiple questions about the same product and zero questions about many other topics that should have been covered. For example, the M365 Admin Expert exam had many questions about Exchange Online connectors but no questions about teams, sharepoint, or Power BI.
I would like to suggest that a comprehensive review be done to provide some more meaningful questions in the renewal exams that are focused on evaluating our knowledge on the complete set of new functionality that has been added to the product since our previous renewals.
