Device Inventory. Security recommendations, slow to update.

Hi All. 

I hope this post finds you well!


I'm looking for a way to force the Endpoint > Device inventory to get the latest information for a device. 

I find that if I deploy some policies to mitigate a "security recommendation", it take's (at best) 24 hours for the change to be shown within the portal. 


I've tried things like forcing a sync from endpoint manager, as well as from the client end. 


I'm just learning the product, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it can take 24-48 hrs for the data to update on Defender Portal.
