Unable to book multiple attendees in MS bookings and "Something went wrong" error

Hello,

We are experiencing an issue with Microsoft Bookings that is preventing us from scheduling multiple attendees for 1:N and N:N appointments.

Problem:

  • When attempting to book more than one person at a time through the live Bookings page, the system only allows for a single attendee regardless of timeslot duration (3-7.5 hours).
  • Incorrect availability is displayed, including:
    • Times outside of availability allowed in the service (3am, 4am, next day, week after etc.)
    • Slots within correct availability showing "Something went wrong" error upon selection.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • Verified timezones are correct.
  • Adjusted staff availability settings.
  • Unchecked "Events on staff calendar affect availability" for all assigned staff.
  • Explored alternative solutions like creating a new calendar (undesirable due to existing appointments) and cloning the calendar (not ideal as this means sending appointment invites again as new attendees won't be able to see the old Teams meeting links).
  • Tried various actions to rule out user-specific issues: refreshing the page, clearing cache/history, using different browsers/incognito modes, and confirming everything is bookable within our timezone.
  • Cloned the bookings page.

Questions:

  1. What could be causing this issue with booking multiple attendees for 1:N and N:N appointments?
  2. What steps can we take to resolve this and ensure that the accurate availability displays?
