Sharepoint Onedrive Sync missing folder permissions

We just moved from GoDaddy to Microsoft to manage our subscription to Office 365. We have one user who isn't able to access synced files from a sharepoint site. He is getting an error that he doesn't haver permission to access the files. He needs to have the synced files stored locally to do his work and have those changes uploaded to the site for others. He appears to have the correct permissions for all the files and folders inside of Windows.
