PPT Formatting changes on "Edit Picture"

Copper Contributor

Hi all,

I receive PowerPoint presentations to translate from the same client, and sometimes they have those tables which require R-click > Edit Picture > then Yes to allow editing ... on three occasions recently I have entered those commands to edit the text and numbers in a table, and the formatting goes crazy, adding columns and data from I don't know where, and covering other data in a slide.

I know the client uses Master slides for many of these PPTs, but I'm lost as to how that works, and how to resolve this.

I'm trying to sort this myself before I admit defeat and ask the client for help (which I'm not convinced they'd give me anyway).

I can provide before and after screenshots.

Many TIA

@Kidd_Ip - obviously I've blanked out text for confidentiality reasons, but the before slide is top, then the after slide below - it's just the table on the left of the slide, the rest is editable with no issues. You can see how the table has expanded out to the right after clicking Yes to edit picture. Many TIA
