Outlook Theme
I´ve settled black as my theme in office 365.
But the email messages keep running in the white theme.

- Hit the "Switch background" button next to the Reply/Reply All ones when viewing a message in the list, or on top of the Ribbon if viewing a message in a separate window. It will have a sun/moon icon depending on the current state.
