I have a client the has Microsoft 365 Apps but his business uses Google Workspace for email. When he is trying to add a new email account in Outlook there is a point where outlook opens a browser window to get to Google authentication. The message that comes up with a java issue in the browser. The only hyperlink options in Outlook Options/Advanced/File and Browser Preferences are 'Microsoft Edge' and 'Default Browser'. Google Chrome is his current default browser but I have tried switching to Edge as well and both browsers have JavaScript enabled in their settings. This in in Windows 10. The machine is current on all Microsoft updates including optional updates. 365 is the current version and Edge and Chrome are both at current version.
Has anyone else seen this and found a fix for it?
