here it is at home

I've deleted the profile and uninstalled/reinstalled Office twice at home but it still looks the same. Both are up to date (12730.20270) as is Windows (both office and home are running Win 10 Pro). At home the tabs are blocky and the colors are just wrong.

They have totally different color palettes.

This is the office palette

You can see that they are different.

Both versions of Office 365 were downloaded from my Office 365 Business account

Anyone know what could be hapenning here?

@tw33k Hi Mark, never seen before. And my first recommendation would be to do what you've already done. But I would probably create a new Windows profile as well. But as you're on the Monthly channel "issues" can occur. Perhaps wait for an update and then reinstall again, follow the channels here to stay updated when it happens https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-microsoft365-apps-by-date

@tw33k Our organisation has the same exact problem and the Microsoft help just told us it is the new outlook. It is no very plausible since our outlook looks now like the ones from ten years ago (or more). Something seems to be broken and our switch started when we accidentally messed with the Optimized for compatibility mode. Colours are wrong, the UI seems blocky etc just like yours.

the "update" is awful! All we can do is use the Feedback Hub to complain and hopefully convince them to change it back
