Newbie Question: Object IDs

Hello, 

I'm looking through audit logs and I'm seeing that a user is accessing a specific object.  The Object ID is a long complex number.  Is there a way that I can see what those Object ID numbers correspond to?  Is there a master list or can I export a list from my subscription somewhere?
