A website allows Office documents that have been uploaded to be opened using the relevant Office 365 application. For example, if I, as admin of the website, upload a Word document, other users can open the document through the website using Word 365. I can allow users to open the word document in Viewing mode, or in Editing mode. I would like the document to be available to users in only Reviewing mode so they can make comments, but not make changes. The website does not have the facility to restrict users to Reviewing mode so I am wondering if it is possible to restrict a Microsoft 365 user using an Office 365 A1 for faculty license, or a group, to only be able to open documents in Reviewing mode (with tracked changes turned on).
