Exchange 2013 - Hybrid setup - Migrated all users - What is Next?
Hybrid setup (Exchange 2013 - Single Server)
* All users already migrated to EXO
* On-prem distribution groups (Almost 200) - Already synced using AAD
What is next step to move everything from on-prem ? ..
* if I point MX to O365 , does my on-prem distribution group keep working or I need any additional changes to make it work ?
* If I move/recreate them before MX pointing to O365 it is not working as mail is flowing from On-Prem and we are using Azure AD connect ( I have tested that cloud only Distribution group is not receiving email from external users)
Thanks in advance

Well, what is the end goal here? Do you plan to keep the Hybrid? Do you need to keep the On-Prem Exchange for some reason, other than management? Are there any On-Prem apps that need to send messages via it, etc?

VasilMichev Thank you,
End goal is to move everything from on-Prem and turn it off or just keep it for management. No app dependency on on-prem . we are not planning to move fully on cloud ,we keep using AAD.
Well, you might just recreate the DGs in O365 or even replace them with the "modern" Office 365 groups. MX can and should be changed to O365, and if you are still in Hybrid, rerun the HCW after doing so.
