Hi, Microsoft 365 Insiders! We’re excited to announce that you can now show or hide the Discover feed using a new setting in Microsoft Teams.
Show or hide the Discover feed in Microsoft Teams
The Discover feed aims to make it easier for you to stay informed and engaged with the content that matters most to you in Microsoft Teams. Its purpose is to improve information discovery and awareness by delivering a personalized, relevance-based feed of Teams channel content. This feed helps you stay on top of important conversations you might otherwise miss due to information overload.
We’ve heard from users that you’d like the ability to toggle the Discover feed on or off in your Teams interface. Now you can!
How it works
- Select Settings and more button next to your profile picture in Teams and select Settings.
- On the General page of Settings, toggle the Show Discover in your channel list setting on or off, based on your preference.
Availability
To use these new features, you must be a member of Teams Public Preview or Microsoft 365 Targeted release and use the new Teams client for Windows or macOS.
To enable your Teams client for the Public Preview, IT administrators must enable Show preview features in their update policy. Learn more.
For Targeted release, global admins can go to the Microsoft 365 admin center and give access to a select set of individuals or the entire organization. Learn more.
