Ask questions and provide feedback in the event Comments below
- Rob_LionCopper ContributorAre there plans to better integrate Loop with Teams, specifically being able to add Loop as a tab within Teams Channels? The added Loop tab would also need be tied to the Teams channel, not the individual who added the tab.
- Rob_LionCopper Contributor
Thank you, Derek! Your answer put a smile on my face as well.😀
- Chris_FerraroSteel ContributorIs Loop getting its own Tech Community space? Or is there one and I am just missing it?
- KmsolaCopper Contributor
- KmsolaCopper ContributorSo far there are no plans for a separate loop community - Questions about Loop can be posted in the MS 365 community.
- Mark-KashmanMicrosoftMost Loop content in the Microsoft Tech Community happens within the Microsoft 365 community: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-365-blog/bg-p/microsoft_365blog - including blogs, discussions, and events.
- xCossackxCopper ContributorQ1: OneNote has a capable search that includes OCR and handwriting, but the search capabilities with Loop are limited, especially when using components throughout the 365 ecosystems. What are the blockers and what is the intent for search within Loop and components?
- xCossackxCopper Contributor2. The lines between OneNote and Loop are getting fuzzy. Can you tell us the strategic vision of each? For example, meeting notes are done with OneNote in Outlook, but now I have the option for Loop instead. For example, meeting notes are done with OneNote in Outlook, but now I have the option for Loop instead. 3. Is Loop going to gain a database (Lists) capability? (a la, Notion)
- EdwardH165Copper ContributorAre there any updates in bringing meeting notes to (higher ed) EDU tenants?
- milkyway123Brass ContributorThe ease of copying components and pages is great, yet it raises the question of how to effectively manage component location awareness and ensure users are informed on where components are stored, should they need to move or copy them elsewhere. Any tips on this?
- Alex_KattarBrass ContributorWhen creating a table with Copilot in Loop with fields like "date", it creates the column as text format instead of date format. Are there plans of addressing this type of behavior? Thank you
- TheoHaleMicrosoft
Hey Alex one of the drivers of this feature in particular here. We've started some of this, you can see for specific cases like votes and certain labels it does make formatted columns! Admittedly it's a bit finnicky though now even in those cases and we haven't implemented this for dates yet. Rest assured though, it's totally on the backlog and that's totally the direction we want to go. I will share your feedback with the team right after I hit send! Please continue to give feedback to help us prioritize things like this. This is awesome! 🙂

- Alex_KattarBrass ContributorAn "action item in Loop is added to "To do", are there plans for actionable items to be added to Planners? TIA
- TheoHaleMicrosoftThis is a great idea! 😉
- Matthias_WaltherCopper Contributor
When its coming to versioning, is there a plan to look at a preview of an older version from a page before restoring?
- Alex_KattarBrass ContributorAlso comparing the current vs an old version.
- Mark-KashmanMicrosoftQuick "review all" FYI note | The full Loop Learning Series is viewable as a 5-part playlist on YouTube within the "Microsoft Community Learning" channel: https://aka.ms/MSLoop/Series/playlist. #Enjoy
- L-C26Copper ContributorI want to clarify my earlier question about knowing what pages are shared. It was not about the workspace but the individual pages. For example, I may create a workspace and then share individual pages, but it isn't clear in one overall view which pages in my workspace are shared. The 'Shared locations' feature only shows information for a page when I select it. Ideally, I want a single view that clearly shows all the pages shared within that workspace.
