MS Teams Copilot and The VS Code Teams Toolkit
Hi,
Do you know when will be available for Partners the ability to use Copilot in teams and extend the functionality using the Teams toolkit to develop a bot with AI, as seen in:

Thanks
- AsherNiermanMicrosoftHi cdantiags,
Microsoft 365 Copilot is now GA, so you should be able to purchase this and begin using. This page has good info on what features are available. - https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-365-copilot/microsoft-365-copilot-is-generally-available/ba-p/3969331
I'm going to move this message to the Copilot community who may be able to answer your other question regarding toolkit and app dev using Copilot.
Thanks,
Asher
-Advanced Support for Partners- cdantiagsBrass ContributorAsher, Thanks for answering.
We are MS partners, developers, and want to start making some tests with Copilot. Do you know if we have to buy it?
Carlos- AsherNiermanMicrosoftTo my knowledge, yes, anyone that wants to use Copilot will need to purchase it. I haven't heard of Partner discounts or promos for Partners regarding Copilot.
I did see this webinar coming up that you may be interested in attending - https://msevents.microsoft.com/event?id=2562919972
In Advanced Support for Partners, we offer benefits that include account management and cloud consults across Microsoft cloud technologies for additional guidance, technical enablement, and deployment/migration assistance. Consults on Copilot are occurring now that the product is GA. If you want to learn more, I can arrange for an ASfP Evangelist to contact you for a discussion.
Thanks,
Asher

We purchased Copilot for M365 and signed in to the Teams Toolkit.
However, when clicking "Create a New App" the "Plugin for Copilot" option is still not available.
What are we missing? Do we need to install a preview version of the Teams Toolkit (and where to get it)?We also enabled the setting in Teams Toolkit Settings - No Luck 😞
- AsherNiermanMicrosoftHi Christian,
I recommend opening a technical support ticket from the M365 admin center and working directly with support.
I'm not on the technical support side but instead work within Advanced Support for Partners, a paid partner offering designed to assist with these types of support escalations but more so is focused on advising and enabling partners to grow faster across the Microsoft cloud. If you'd like to learn please let me know.
Thanks,
Asher
