Have required licenses however M365 chat is still asking for a license.

Good afternoon,

I believe I have all the required licenses to run M365 chat in Microsoft teams, however when I attempt to send a message it is saying I do not have the license to use it. Here are my current licenses -

  • Microsoft 365 E3
  • Microsoft Copilot studio viral trial
  • Microsoft Defender for Office 365 (P2)
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Microsoft Power Automate free
  • Microsoft Teams Exploratory
  • Power BI Pro

Am I missing something that I need access to, in order to make it work?

Thanks in advance!

  • Hello! I know, I love the AI chatbots  ! Okay, so according to a web search I did, you'll need-
    • A Microsoft 365 or Office 365 E3/E5 subscription
    • A Microsoft 365 Copilot license
    • A Teams license
Please note that I am not responsible for any purchase and/or purchase mistake towards the use of getting Copilot chat in Teams, and I am not responsible if you don't see the Chat after purchasing the necessary products.
I hope this helps, have a great evening!
