Copilot license for creating AI Agents for SharePoint & Copilot Studio
I have users with E3 license, but they are not able to create AI Agents for SharePoint sites & AI agent using Copilot studio. so what is the best license for those users? Here are the licenses those users have:- And where are the options i got when i access Copilot license inside our Office 365 admin center:- Any advice? which license i need to buy to allow E3 users to create AI agents for SharePoint and AI using Copilot studio? While their names sound similar at first glance - Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat - they differ in several aspects. And more importantly, one can't be without another. What is Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat? First since first. Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat is also called Copilot Chat. Copilot Chat generates answers based on web content, while Microsoft 365 Copilot is also grounded on users' data, like emails, meetings, files, and more. Since January 15, Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat is available for everyone. Everyone in organizations. Also customers with a Microsoft 365 Business Basic subscriptions can enjoy using Copilot Chat securily. The screenshot below shows how Copilot Chat looks like and highlights its main capabilities. Note that EDP - Enterprise Data Protection is available. What is Microsoft 365 Copilot? Microsoft 365 Copilot is an add-on available for specific Microsoft 365 Subscriptions: Microsoft 365 E3, E5, A3, A5, and Business Standard & Premium. It includes Copilot Chat in addition to other Copilot features: Microsoft 365 Copilot also includes a chat grounded on users' meetings, emails, chats, and documents. It integrates into Microsoft 365 apps, like Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and more. It brings the capability to create agents and additional Copilot management features such as SharePoint Advanced Management and Copilot Dashboard. Copilot Chat can be pinned in MS Teams and MS Outlook as App. How can I access Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat? Copilot Chat is nowadays accessible via m365copilot.com using your Entra account. In contrast to Microsoft 365 Copilot licensed users, Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat users cannot see, by default, Copilot Chat pinned on the Microsoft 365 homepage. Microsoft 365 Copilot Administrators will have to pin the chat in the admin center so it is easy for Copilot Chat users to access it. What's the difference? There are some aspects, such as licensing requirements, subscription fees, data sources, or access to organization content, that determine the differences between Copilot Chat and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Copilot Edge Icon in Looping
Hi All, I have configured two tenants for Copilot EDR. I can open copilot via edge icon (upper right) then log in with an Azure User with no issues, for tenant 01, and the shield icon for EDR is there as expected. For tenant 02, when I try to log in the copilot using edge icon, it enters in a loooping, I log then return to the same page asking for login, I log again, return to same page again, etc. For this same tenant, we have no issues when using copilot.cloud.microsoft, it only happens if we try the edge icon. Any tips? Thanks in advance

Hi all, I'm new to copilot so bear with me! I want to have copilot chat go through my inbox for the last week (sometime 2 weeks) and no matter how I do it, I can't get the detail that I want in one prompt rather than typing in "Can you provide details on the emails received on Monday?" letting it run and create the output then asking about Tuesday, Weds etc? I created an agent in M365, including its name, description, instructions, and required actions. The agent is properly tested in Copilot Studio and published, but it is not visible in the M365 Copilot agent list. Interestingly, one agent is visible while the other is not, and I am unable to determine the issue.Such a disappointment
One of my team members recently left, and with a critical meeting coming up next week, I had to step into the role quickly. I thought MS Copilot could assist with updating Excel and PowerPoint, but it turned out to be a mistake. I asked Copilot to replace all instances of "2024" with "2025," but it replied that it couldn’t perform the task. Next, I requested it to analyze a pivot table to identify which rows were subtotals and apply the same formula to other columns in the sheet. Instead, it suggested irrelevant adjustments to unrelated columns. I expected these tasks to be straightforward for MS software, but Copilot struggled with them. Honestly, it feels less efficient than a simple "Ctrl+F" and "Replace All."
Copilot for Outlook not working on our company email-adress?
Hi, We have Microsoft 365 Business subscription, and i have downloaded Copilot in Outlook. But I still dont get access to making it draft emails. I have read several places that it only works with outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com, eller msn.com. But is this accurate when we have a Business-account? Or is it because we dont subscribe for Copilot Pro?Can't select PDFs or other files in PPT Copilot
Hi all, When generating presentations in Powerpoint using Copilot, I'm unable to select any files other than word files when choosing a file to generate a presentation from. My copilot has updated so I can only generate these presentations from this window opposed to the sidebar: Is there anyway to ensure files other than the word documents in my onedrive appear here? Hello, I created an agent in one of our Sharepoint Site : The agent works fine inside Sharepoint, but when I add it to a Teams group chat, whether the chat members all have access to the Sharepoint content and a Copilot licence or not, the agent doesn't "talk". It doen't even introduce itself : I tried to follow many tutorials/documentation, such as https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/share-an-agent-from-sharepoint-in-teams-6dcbf7b5-8c13-44e5-a68a-dbd71fb76ad3, but found nothing on this issue. I have been extremely disappointed with Copilot after a year plus of struggles. I want to create a company chat bot based on core documents. One for HR, one for company methods, etc. It seems CoPilot Studio is the only way -- it is arcane, complex, confusing -- i have "something" working but not at all effective. If someone has a streamlined approach to using CoPilot Studio, I am all about it, but I struggled for hours to get a mediocre bot. The value of O365 is the collection of thousands of documents. CoPilot seemingly has no access to them. Microsoft is adding small plus up features to excel and ppt, but the power of AI is to process large quantities of data and help a human make sense. This should be microsofts competitive differentiator, but it is totally absent. Am i missing something?

Microsoft copilot stops while giving a response.
Why is this happening? Is there a solution for this? It just stops while giving response. And it has happened several times. And you can't even give prompt to continue from there. You should restart it. Does anyone have a solution for this? and I have restarted and reinstalled it 1000 times.
How can I permanently remove the irritating copilot icon from my word document
How do I get rid of this from the documents I create? I have copilot switched off in preferences and I have it deleted from my menu bar and yet, I just can't get rid of this icon/text? How do I just get a normal word document? I noticed that my subscription sneakily went up to £105 per year from £80 per year and the only way to revert back to my old subscription was to cancel it. So, I don't have copilot switched on, nor am I or will I pay for it but the copilot prompt just won't disappear. Any ideas would be welcome... thanks
