Access to "Copilot in Window (Preview)" via the taskbar
Like many others, I had difficulties accessing it right from the start. Once it worked with workarounds, then "Copilot in Window (Preview)" did not start docked in the sidebar but in its own Edge win...

- mande1191May 30, 2024Steel ContributorToday, after the update “2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 version 23H2 for x64-based systems (KB5037853)” I had to repeat the “magic”. With respect and the appropriate backups (registry, restore point) I performed the tasks. Yes, it works perfectly again.
Any users among you from Europe struggling with the same problem?
Answers would be much appreciated.
Best regards

Hello Enzo
Thank you for your interest. I'm not sure if my information is still up to date. Possibly the updates from 25.6.2024 have resulted in changes in the implementation of Copilot in Windows as part of the DMA:
Unfortunately, I can't test this as I'm out of the country.Otherwise, you make changes at your own risk.
The exact path for me is: C:\Windows\System32\IntegratedServicesRegionPolicySet.json
You can see the changes in the image in the thread above:
Good luck.
