OneNote 2016 - Deactivate Ribbons/ Buttons

Deleted
Not applicable

Hello everybody,

we deactivate various buttons in the menu bar via the Group Policy for Office 2016. For this we use the ID numbers from the "Microsoft Office Fluent user interface" (MOFUI).

For all products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) we have hidden the respective icons in the policies under "Disabele Items in User Interface > Custom > Disable Commands".

For OneNote 2016 the respective IDs for deactivating specific icons also exist in the MOFUI. But where in the policies are the IDs entered ? The policy structure for OneNote 2016 is completely different from the one for Word etc..

Does anyone have a tip for me ?

Many thanks in advance...

Torben

Hi @Deleted

I faced the same issue.

You should set the value in the registry key of the policies.

For instance

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\onenote\disabledcmdbaritemslist]

"TCID1"="DigistID"
