Alias is being ignored when pulling emails from Outlook Imap Account

We are using an integration tool by IBM that pulls emails from a mail server.  We currently are converting from Lotus Notes to Outlook.  We are pulling the emails no issues from Outlook but the aliases are being overwritten by the default account alias.  How can we get around this?  We use the To: value to determine how to process the email.
