I just bought a MacBook Air M1. I installed office 360 because I use mail merge for my clients. I tried to use my database by merging mail but the first client does appear, if I continue merging, they appear blank or Word simply keeps thinking it takes 40 minutes to change the item. Copy the raw database to a new file and do mail merge and it worked, but it slowed down too much. is there any patch? or why is that problem? Can't quite figure out an issue with Office (M365) for iPad, accessing the print function in the menu on some iPads but not others. The one on the left is my own iPad and the one on the right is an extra one I work with. The one on the left is an iPad Pro and the one on the right is an iPad 8, they're running the same iPadOS (17.6.1), they have the same version of Office, and they're signed in with the same Microsoft account. However, they do not use the same LDAP account and they are located in two different sites in our Jamf Pro. That is the only difference. Neither device has any restrictions whatsoever in Jamf. The only profiles of importance are MDM Profile and Passcode. Anyone who has experienced something similar and who possibly knows what could be the cause and possibly has a solution to the problem?245Views0likes2Comments"MIcrosoft 365" iOS apps version 2.87: Unable to edit and save PDF

Protecting organization's data on mobile devices is crucial for companies. In this video, I'll talk about Microsoft Intune and how you can leverage the capabilities of App Protection Policy to secure your company data on mobile devices. Some scenarios covered include allowing copy/paste between trusted apps, avoiding screenshots and screen recording of organization data, sharing files only between managed apps, adding a PIN to access, and encrypting data. #DataProtection #MobileSecurity #MicrosoftIntune :mobile_phone::locked:354Views0likes0CommentsOutlook for Mac - Future calendar items don't show but are there in OWA
I have a Mac user running the latest version of Microsoft 365 on their Macbook. She's a power user and uses her calendar extensively. She uses the new Outlook (Ver 16.70) Her Outlook calendar is intact but it is empty in the future (February 2024 and beyond). So it only has future calendar entries of the next 10 months, but none after that. However, both OWA and her iPhone have those future calendar entries so we can conclude that the problem is just with her Outlook on the Mac. I can't find any Outlook settings that pertain to calendar sync.954Views0likes1CommentDefender for macOS onboarding issue
I am trying to onboard macOS devices in my organization with Microsoft Defender via Intune, and facing multiple issues with it, the configuration profiles are applied successfully only on few devices, only the first (manually installed) macOS is properly onboarded in Defender, and all of the other ones are complaining about missing license. Could someone answer few questions and maybe give some tips on how can I troubleshoot and resolve this: We haveMicrosoft 365 Business Premium license, and according to Defender documentation this is a sufficient license to use it on any endpoint device. However the error message on macOS devices states that there is a missingMicrosoft Enterprise license. Is there a special license needed or is this just the payload configuration profile issue? The kernel extension and onboarding profiles are generated in the Microsoft Defender Admin Center, however I did noticed that the OrgID in the onboarding profile file does not match my TenantID. Does that mean that those files are premade and I should adjust them to my organization details or it is simply a different ID assigned? The onboarding profile gets successfully applied on all devices however the kernel extension profile fails on almost every device, and the successful applications do not follow any pattern or macOS version. Can't really find any suggestions on the possible root cause of this issue. Did anyone had similar problems with the kext profile? TheMicrosoft Defender Admin Center does provide a installation package PKG file. However according to the Defender documentationI should useMicrosoft Defender for Endpoint (macOS) application that is ready to be applied directly from Intune Management Portal. Which is it? Or maybe both? Thank you in advance for any tips and / or answers 🙂909Views0likes0CommentsExchange disclaimer breaks when sent from iPhone?

Microsoft 365 app APNS registration Bug: Not possible to enable Push Notifications later if it is not enabled during initial installation and login to account on the app, without deleting and re-installing/ re-login into the app. Push notifications dont get activated even after opening the Microsoft 365, which does not show prompt for allowing push notifications as it did upon first install of the app. This shows Microsoft 365 app for iOS is not registering with APNS during subsequent restarts/ re-login into the account. The status shown in Microsoft 365 app > Settings > Push Notifications > “Off”. There is no option to change it from “Off” to “On”. The Microsoft 365 app too doesn’t show up at all in app list in iOS settings > Notifications, till the app is uninstalled and reinstalled. It is a failure of Microsoft 365 app for iOS to register properly to APNS upon subsequent restarts, if Push notifications are not enabled during first installation and login to the account. This issue is resolved if Microsoft 365 app for iOS is subsequently uninstalled and re-installed. These apps register correctly with APNS when the app is installed afresh and login to the account. Hence it is a bug in Microsoft 365, which is to be resolved by Microsoft. The problem occurs primarily with Microsoft 365 app for iOS. Other apps like Microsoft OneDrive for iOS, YouTube and Facebook on iOS don’t face this problem. They are able to register with APNS whenever they are launched subsequent even if the notifications are not activated initially. Expected behaviour: The Microsoft 365 app for iOS should initiate the prompt asking enabling of push notifications, upon restart of the app, if the notifications were not enabled earlier, or alternatively the ppp should have an option to activate notifications without having to uninstall / reinstall the app and re-login to the account.484Views0likes0CommentsNot possible to enable Push Notifications later if it is not enabled during initial installation
