Hi folks! I ran into a stupid problem. I don't even know where to start digging. Added a system environment variable. So, now Path looks like: C:\Windows\test;C:\Windows\system32;C:\Windows;C:\Windows\System32\Wbem;C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Windows\System32\OpenSSH\ there's only one file C:\Windows\test\toy.exe, it's just open message box and closing. The problem is: if I run "toy" from command prompt, it works perfectly, wherever cmd opened. But it doesn't work from registry: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DesktopBackground\Shell\toy\command default data "toy". I see it when right click on Desktop, and when I click toy, just nothing happened. If I change command default data to C:\Windows\test\toy, it works. I would be very grateful if someone could suggest some idea. Thank you.49Views1like3Commentsget an app to open this 'ms-cortana 2' link

Hi everyone, I've recently started compiling some of my favorite video clips and would like to extract the audio to MP3 format for easier listening on the go. I'm using a Windows PC and was wondering what the best methods or tools are for converting MP4 files to MP3. Whether it's free software, online tools, or built-in Windows features, I'd love to hear your recommendations and any step-by-step guides you might have. Additionally, I'm interested in maintaining the quality of the audio during the conversion process. Are there specific settings that help preserve audio fidelity after converting mp4 to mp3? I'm also curious about batch conversion options, as I have a large number of files to process and want to make the workflow as efficient as possible. Finally, if there are any potential issues or things to watch out for during the conversion, such as file compatibility or software limitations, please let me know.127Views0likes5CommentsHow do I change or convert webp to gif for free?
I have several images saved as WebP files, and I need to convert them to GIF format. I’ve tried searching around, but I’m hoping you all might have some direct recommendations for an efficient and reliable process. Here are a few questions I have: Batch Conversion: I have quite a few images to convert—does anyone know of a tool that supports bulk (batch) conversion from WebP to GIF? Lossless/Lossy Settings: If the original WebP images are animated or have transparency, are there any special settings or steps I need to follow to ensure the GIFs preserve those animations/transparencies? Any help, tutorials, or experiences you can share to convert webp to gif would be greatly appreciated! I’d love to hear about any pitfalls, recommended best practices, or settings that might save me time (and headaches).71Views0likes5CommentsHow to change the network connection from wifi to ethernet?
I have a Google WiFi extender, and I have a CAT6 Ethernet cable, but it still says I'm connected to the WiFi. I built the PC myself, so I might have messed something up, but I don't think that's the issue. I've tried switching from the grey thing that looks like this and the blue wifi symbol but neither change anything. Does anyone know how to fix this?6Views0likes0CommentsWindows 11 Unsupported on I7-7700
Why doesn't Microsoft Support the intel Core i7-7700 Processor for Windows 11 (22H2), I was checking the PC Health Check App and It said that I met the Requirements for Everything Else, Except for the Processor. I have a TPM 2.0, but an Unsupported Processor. I found this quite ridiculous. No hate to Microsoft or anything like that but I feel like the I7-7700 would work just fine on Windows 11 (22H2), Because I upgraded on an Unsupported Processor and It was smooth as butter. then I went back to Windows 10 Because My Processor was Unsupported. If possible, could Microsoft make a change? What are your thoughts?53KViews1like26CommentsWhat is the best free SVG converter with color for Windows 11
I've been using various graphic design tools over the years, but I've found that I often need to convert raster images (like PNG or JPEG) to vector formats for scalability and editing purposes. Conversely, there are times when I need to export my vector designs into more common formats for sharing or use in other applications. While there are several online SVG converters available, I prefer a robust PC-based solution that offers more control, better quality conversions, and enhanced security for my files. What I'm looking for: Ease of Use: Intuitive interface for both beginners and advanced users. Quality: High-quality conversions with minimal loss of detail. Features: Support for batch conversions, editing capabilities, and compatibility with various file formats. Performance: Fast processing times without significant lag, even with large files. Cost: Ideally, a cost-effective solution, whether free or reasonably priced. I've come across a few SVG converters like Adobe Illustrator, and some online converters, but I'm not sure which one would best suit my needs. If you've had positive experiences withbest SVG converter software on PC or have insights into other reliable tools, I would greatly appreciate your recommendations and any tips you might have.67Views0likes6CommentsNeed help to downgrade iOS 17 to 16 on my Windows 11 computer
iOS 17 is buggy on my iPhone 14 and I'd like to downgrade iOS 17 to 16. This seems a tough task on a Windows PC as Apple does not provide any official guide for this. Recently, after updating to iOS 17, I’ve encountered several issues that are affecting my device’s performance and compatibility with some of my essential apps. I’ve heard that downgrading iOS 17 to iOS 16 can help resolve these problems, but I’m not entirely sure about the process, especially since I’m using a Windows environment. I understand that Apple only allows downgrades to versions they are currently signing, but I’m not sure how to verify this or what to do if the version I need is not signed anymore. In addition, I’ve backed up my iPhone using iCloud, but I want to ensure I don’t lose any data during the downgrade process. I’m comfortable using software like iTunes and following technical instructions, but I want to ensure I do everything correctly to avoid any complications.70Views1like5Comments
