Hi, I have a PDF document that I want to summarize using Microsoft Copilot. However, I couldn't find any specific API for summarizing PDFs. Can anyone guide me on how to achieve this? Are there any alternative APIs or methods within the Microsoft ecosystem I can use for document summarization?62Views1like1CommentHow to remove Copilot from showing up on web-based apps?
Hello, I predominantly use Outlook through the website via Chrome. I also use OneDrive, Excel, and Word through Chrome quite often. I had a tech person walk me through removing Copilot from my computer's apps - the actual programs - but it's still showing up on my website uses. I do not support AI, AI is absolute trash, and I want Copilot completely eliminated from everything I use. I am tired of having to close the Copilot 'summary' that automatically pops up at the top of all my emails. Is there an easy way to completely eliminate this, or am I doomed? Thank you!640Views8likes2CommentsCan't delete Designer files

We have 8 sales invoices combined in one pdf document, the file is uploaded in OneDrive, I started asking questions from the file using Copilot, one of the questions is to give a total of all invoices, I got the right answer but when my colleague asked the same question to the same file, he got a wrong answer. I face the same problem with other files also, getting wrong answers every time (One thing I have to mention here is that all those files are in Arabic language). So, is it a language issue or is it the normal behaviour? I even created custom Agents from SharePoint Library with only limited files but still getting wrong answers from Copilot.27Views0likes0CommentsHow to prevent Copilot from accessing certain documents
Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) will soon extend to support Microsoft 365 Copilot. DLP policies will be able to identify sensitive documents based on sensitivity labels and exclude processing for Copilot interactions in Microsoft 365 Copilot Business Chat. The preview does not support alerts, incident reports, and policy simulation. Audit records will be available at a later time after policy management is enabled for organizations. A Microsoft 365 Copilot license and a Microsoft 365 E5 license or equivalent are required to use this feature. #Copilot #Purview #Microsoft365 #MPVbuzz #DLP #SharePoint #OneDrive965Views0likes0CommentsCapabilities of Copilot in Web Browser vs. in Excel
Hello, I have noticed differences of Copilot capabilities of M365 Copilot in web browser vs. in Excel itself. For example, I want to count the number of lines in Excel file based on some parameters. When I put the prompt "Count the number of rows that have 'VTT' in column 'Product'." into Excel Copilot, it counts the correct number of rows. When I put the same prompt, just starting with "In file /Sample_data.xlsx" into M365 Copilot in Teams or in the web browser, it returns incorrect count every time. The same happens when I upload the file directly to the Copilot window and not link it to Onedrive. Mostly less (correct is 202 and Copilot returns 64 or so). I suspect it cannot access the entire document. I have tried many similar simple tests with other prompts and it is often the same result - in Excel good, elsewhere bad. Why does this happen? Is it because the file is indexed only partially in some sort of index and web Copilot draws from that and cannot see the data itself? How can I allow the Teams/web Copilot to access the data so the results are correct? I don't want to open Excel everytime to use the data inside. Thank you very much!! PS: When I test the same prompts with ChatGPT 4o mini, it responds correctly every time, so the data is AI-readable.262Views0likes1CommentCoPilot for M365 only available as a yearly?
How does a company as successful and forward thinking as Microsoft consistently get it wrong. The uptake of CoPilot among our customer base of 100 clients can be counted on half a hand. We have a customer that would like to trial 5 x users but there is no trial available and the only option is to subscribe to a twelve month commitment for each user. Every other M365 product we use has a monthly option. Why would you do that?129Views0likes1CommentCost for family on copilot
Feedback on Microsoft Copilot Pricing Dear Microsoft Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share feedback regarding the pricing of Microsoft Copilot. As a Microsoft 365 Family subscriber (99€/year), I find the additional cost of Copilot—ranging from 22€ to 30€ per user per month—challenging to justify. For a family of four, this adds up to a substantial annual cost of 1,056€, which feels disproportionate compared to the base subscription price. I appreciate the value that Copilot brings, but I believe a more accessible pricing model, especially for families or multiple users, would make the service much more appealing. A bundled or tiered pricing approach could encourage broader adoption and enhance the overall value perception of Microsoft 365. Thank you for considering my feedback. I look forward to seeing how Microsoft evolves its offerings to meet the needs of its loyal customers. Best regards, Maikel84Views0likes0Comments
