Hi, I am able to add a MS Access data source linking to my Outlook folder. My Outlook account has several "Groups" but that doesn't show up when I link via MS Access. Is it possible to link MS Access to a MS Exchange account Groups? If not, is there a way to temporary send or forward those emails to a location that MS Access can read from? My company is switching users from Office 2016 to Microsoft 365. I have a database that send emails out to suppliers. The code has worked fine for years. Now, after the upgrade to 365, I now get an error when sending the email (.send). The error message basically says, try again later. If I display the email then manually click send, it works. Did something change with 365 that would cause this? My company is quite large so IT is problematic to work with. We are using a generic email account create for our department. Any ideas would be appreciated.868Views0likes2CommentsConnecting MS Access to MS Outlook Calendar - MS Outlook calendar to automatically generate event
In short, I am building a holiday planner, which all the employees within my department are to use. I want to build such functionality in MS Access that, whenever I have approved a holiday, i.e. the approved time period goes into table X, Columns Y and Z, which columns are date columns. I want to extract the time period columns Y and Z form and automatically generate an event in the MS Outlook calendar, which states the employee name from the employee table and the time period they are to be absent. For this I need MS Outlook to extract the data from MS Access. Do you guys have a suggestion how this may happen? P.s. Also I want the calendar I made in MS Outlook to check the table once every 24h and for every new row in table X I want it to create a new event automatically and delete the relevent event if the row is delete1.2KViews0likes1CommentAccess Outlook error
Hi there, When trying to use email functions within Access, we receive an error stating that we need to set up a Microsoft Outlook profile. However, there are multiple profiles set up on this machine. The error is fixed be reinstalling Office completely, but we were hoping to find another solution.
