Quick note to let you know we've announced a new unified technology event for enterprises. If you've attended Microsoft Exchange Conference (MEC), SharePoint Conference, Lync Conference or Project Conference, this event is for you! Head over to Office Blogs for more.

  • Finally an event in Chicago! See you all there!
  • Awesome decision, no more confusion to attend MEC or Teched or some other confusion. One place for all, so many technical people will be together.
  • Will we see very good & deep dive Exchange On-Premises sessions??
  • So...does this mean there will be no MEC next year? Maybe no more MEC, period?
  • @Paul Newell - that is correct. MEC as an event is now part of this single unified event. We are working hard to keep the MEC community together in this larger event. We will have more info about what that looks like in September. Right now we want everyone

to save the date for the event.

  • @Brian Shiers [MSFT]

That's good to hear. Hopefully the sessions and overall "Feel" will be similar to MEC. I've been to many break-out session conferences before, but MEC was the only one dedicated to us as Exchange professionals and SMEs. Just knowing that we were all together

for Exchange alone brought a certain level of camaraderie that I don't see happening at a multi-discipline conference, though I understand the challenges that Microsoft is trying to overcome with this conference (resources, cost, repeat presentations, etc).

    Still...
