Data Validation with searchable drop-down list

Hello everybody!
The data validation feature with searchable list in Microsoft 365 Excel in the online version works perfectly.
Why in the offline version of the same program does not work?
Will this feature be available at some point in the offline (desktop) version?

It is being introduced to Excel desktop in Microsoft 365 subscriptions, but it may take a while to show up for you, depending on which update cycle you are on.
