Today's post is by Jared DeCamp, organizer of the "Learn OneNote Conference". November 10th - 13th of the conference focuses exclusively on Education.
It has been a year since we shared about the online community driven conference all about OneNote. With a tremendous response from OneNote fans last year, we are excited to share that the Learn OneNote Conference is open for registration again. More than 25 speakers will be sharing—via video—how they use OneNote to be productive in business and in education. These 20 to 30 minute videos dive deep into real ways you can use OneNote in the real world, shown by OneNote fans just like you. This is a free online event during the dates of November 7th to November 13th, 2017. Visit Learn OneNote Conference to register for free.
25+ OneNote MVPs, MIEEs and Avengers are leading the charge
Speaker presentations will be shared each day of the online conference and give you an opportunity to observe, learn from, and be inspired by how other individuals use Microsoft OneNote. Mike Tholfsen, will be sharing recent OneNote updates and upcoming releases in his session of the event. Jeffrey Bradbury, sponsor of the conference and also host of the second season of Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Spotlight Series Podcast, will be sharing how he plans his podcast shows with OneNote. Spoiler alert, he uses OneNote on the Mac so for everyone wanting more OneNote help on different platforms, this conference is a great spot to learn.
The agenda showing all the topics and speakers is available for download by clicking here. If you are on Twitter, you can see the list of speakers here.
Education Focus
November 10th - November 13th will focus exclusively on OneNote and Education. Each day is chock full of educators and product team members deonstrating real world example, tips, tricks and innovation. You can also learn more about where OneNote has been and where it's headed in the education space. This is perhaps the best and most intensive OneNote Education Professional Development (PD) you'll find this year!

Two of their ambassadors, Scott Titmas and Margret Atkinson, will be sharing how OneNote integrates with Flipgrid to increase student engagement in their conference video. As Scott and Margret describe, when it comes to integrating, it is more than just embedding. It is really how well things work together. With OneNote and Flipgrid integrations, things just work as expected.

They also are discussing ways to integrate OneNote and Flipgrid on a board here. When you register for the conference, you’ll receive a free 45-day classroom trial code to try out Flipgrid with OneNote.
OneNote Community Following the OneNote Team’s Lead
Following the example set by the accessibility support for OneNote, Learn OneNote Conference videos will all have subtitles and transcriptions for every video. It is just one small part we can play to help more people better themselves. For more on accessibility, be sure to view Meenakshi Uberoi’s video Dealing with Diverse Learners Using OneNote, which will be released on Monday, November 13th, 2017 during the conference. Or, there was a recent #MSFTEduChat TweetMeet worth reviewing that took place on October 17th all about accessibility.
