Tips/resources on managing Shared Mailboxes in New Outlook?
Hello In the New Outlook Shared categories are no longer available on a Shared mailbox. At each and every client I have they rely quite heavily on shared mailboxes for client interactions. Shared categories are used to distribute work in the team and reach consensus on who follows up. This is no longer working in the New Outlook. This makes centralized external communications via Outlook impossible. For small organisations, other software used by corporates is often seen as overkill. Teams is not an option given the fact that there are known external users and unkown users that you want to enable to reach the organisation in a simple and friendly way (Forms are not seen as customer friendly, nor Chatbots) What solutions would you suggest?
How to apply signature templete on New Outlook by Intune
We want to apply signature template for outlook clients by intune, All classic outlook received the signature template but New Outlook clients are not getting these settings. I understand New Outlook based on web view system, But as it's installed as a client, there should be a way to apply policies for this New Outlook. I am trying to peek into this using MFCMAPI tool but cannot find the copilot integrations/prompts. How can I view what's there?Microsoft Places Upload Errors
I am configuring the public preview of Microsoft Places with a client and when we tried to upload the IMDF files after uploading the building/floors CSV, the following error message appeared in the shell: "Import not supported for file fixtures.geojson" We removed that file from the IMDF zip file and tried again but a different error appeared: "No levels were found correlated to directory floors for the building" When the CSV file with building and floor data was uploaded before the configuration step, I didn't add any SMTP address values in that column because they don't exist yet. When the import script finished, a few errors appeared stating that an identity wasn't found. Maybe that's part of the issue? I'm not sure what I'm missing. Anyone else made it through this step yet in the public preview?
Knowledge Managment in M365 after Viva Topics retirement
Hi, What is the Microsoft POV on knowledge management in M365 after the retirement of Viva Topics? I know we have Microsoft AI Content Management features to manage knowledge. But when it comes to surfacing the knowledge to end users, there is no dedicated front end like Viva Topics that auto-curate content for users. Microsoft 365 Copilot is very generic and renders global content results which impacts the quality of knowledge-related results. Building a custom Chatbot is an option but it's expensive and has its limitations.Can't find how to obtain Certification for Specialist Adoption program
Hello everyone, I have completed the Specialist Adoption course. Co-workers have told me that I can take an exam and obtain a certification, upon payment of 99$. It's also mentioned on the Microsoft page: (URL). Monthly calls - not taking into consideration UTC +11
Hi it's great you've got these monthly calls, but setting aside Friday Pacific time means they're available to those of us 11 hours ahead (Australia) means they're hosted on a Saturday. Most of us don't work in the office on a Saturday ... Can you please consider hosting them on a Thursday your time so that we can catch them? This would be greatly appreciated 🙂What is the difference between Office 2019 and M365?
We are about to move from Office 2019 to M365 (Office) and I need to inform the organisation about the differences between the two. Are there any comparison guides that focus on the user experience rather than the subscription prices and apps available? Thank you
Rule of thumb for number of champions
Wondering if anyone uses or knows of a heuristic for determining the ideal number of champions for Teams adoption or any other app. I assume number of users would be the denominator. Maybe nuances like use cases and scenarios for Teams use come into play. Would appreciate any thoughts on this.
New Outlook user adoption
Hi everyone! Apologies if this has already been posted a million times (I did search!) We’ve been holding off on making the new outlook available to our users - using GPO settings and InTune configuration policies to disable ‘try the new outlook’ toggle. Since we’ve started upgrading to Win 11 more and more people are getting their hands on it with mixed reviews. Very ‘Marmite’ (either love it or hate it!) We are now just going to give in and let users switch to the New outlook should they wish to - with some comms about the new features, but also what’s missing and what’s coming soon. Just wondered if anyone else had done similar? How did it go? What resources and training did you provide? Interested to hear! Thanks, Alex

In a community call last year, there was a demo of Microsoft Places. Can anyone provide an update regarding the release date of this? We are interested in the hotel desk component of this tool.
