Edge Profiles on Linux are a mess

Does anyone here use edge on linux with multiple profiles?
On Windows - you can launch profiles separately by pinning each profile on the taskbar or desktop.
On Linux - there is no such option, you can pass some command line arguments for the same and maybe get it to work, but no easy way to manage the profiles even when using a simple setup like (debian+gnome).
The problem is even worse when you try syncing/signing in with a second Microsoft account and it opens the sign in prompt in the main profile, making it impossible to sign in with a different profile. Even after changing the setting both on the tab itself and global settings to keep the profile separate, this settings is not used and browser does what it wants(ie. open main profile whenever it wants).

There should be an option to use the default profile window like in chrome which allows you to select which profile to load and have no connection with other profile. The current implementation tries to be smart and messes up the whole experience, maybe it works properly on windows but this is clearly not working with linux.
