Solution to Allow Favourites to be Opened in New Tab in Edge Browser
This topic is a solution, rather than a request. Being as the subject is an old problem, with lots of internet coverage, but without a fully satisfactory solution that I could find, I thought it was worthwhile creating a new topic. To open a favourite in a new tab, simply click on the favourite and drag and drop into the content area of an existing tab! This works from the favourites bar or the favourites drop-down list. Any existing tab can be used, including the "New Tab". The favourite will be opened in a new tab to the right of the tab that was used to drag and drop into. Hi everyone. I would like to know why we get so many entries in the Open With menu on macOS? I included a screenshot of my right click - Open With menu. It looks like every new version creates an entry in that menu. This, I think, shouldn't be like that. I tried to removed the entries with lregister in command line, but it came back after rebooting. Any suggestion?
Microsoft Edge Split Screen should have Freeze/Sync Scrolling
Hi, So, after reading the winaero's post on Split Screen feature in Edge Canary, I tried it out and I really liked it. But it should have sync scrolling feature that will allow: Comparing web pages is easier. Comparing local documents is easier. Personally speaking, I often have to compare PDFs, and I'm not very keen on using a third-party software for it. So, for that, I use Firefox in combination with an addon to achieve that. Adding synchronized scrolling in spit screen will enhance the usability of this feature. Even as a front-end developer, I see a potential use case in comparing webpages.Favorite Bars in Workspaces changed since this morning
Hi everyone! Since yesterday, all my Workspaces had their own favorite bars. When I reopened Edge this morning, I was shocked at first, because I thought my favorites had all disappeared. But it turns out they are now hidden under a folder on the left of the Favorites Bar, making it annoying and cumbersome to access them and the rest of the Favorites bar is now shared among Workspaces. I don't know if I accidentally changed an option but I couldn't find a way to revert it back to how it was. I also couldn't find any information on this being a new feature that was introduced yesterday. If it is, I really don't like it because I don't want to see my work related tabs when I am in my free time workspace and clicking an extra folder each time I want to access a workspace is really cumbersome. Has anyone else noticed this change? I really hope it is an option. 😅
Photos/Images how to store on PC ?
Good afternoon, I have Edition Windows 10 pro - Microsoft Edge, when someone sends me an email with a photo/image and i want to deleat the email but keep the photo/image, where do i store it? and how do i go about it? i am asking as i have not done this before. many thanks.
