How many times have you found yourself in a situation in which plenty of Log Analytics Workspaces and Application insights were installed over time and you lost control?
Moreover, how can you make sure that you are eligible for an Azure Monitor Log Dedicated Cluster instance to enforce data security using Azure Monitor customer-managed key (CMK) and to save money? Unfortunately, you need to do queries and math’s to get the full picture. This was true until today 
Collecting needs from several customers, I created a workbook that allows you to retain control over your monitoring infrastructure.
This workbook, organized with parameters and tabbed approach to permit a direct access to the related resource,
shows you several information in both aggregated and detailed ways. The Application Insights instances tab reports on the number of Application Insights instances
, their average daily ingestion and the ingestion over time for the selected subscription(s). Plus, some interesting information about the integration mode and its retirement date.

Pretty similar approach for the Log Analytics Workspaces tab. Here you can get, together with the abovementioned information, the pricing tier, the capping, information about the daily and overtime ingestion and the eventual dedicated cluster membership.
Talking Log Analytics Dedicated Cluster tab, you can get the number of configured clusters by subscription, the pricing tier, the count of all Log Analytics Workspaces linked to a given one,
Additional details plus the use of CMK
and, last but not least the daily ingestion as sum of all attached workspaces. This tile gives you the ability to understand if you are eligible for the next pricing tier to save even more.
Should you need a tool to assess, rationalize and sanitize your Monitoring infrastructure, this could be it. Released in the form of a workbook, it can be easily imported and thanks to the parameter selection it can be used by any customer with no need for code change.

Once you get there, click on the Raw button to open the file
Then copy/paste the content in a new workbook, save it and use it
