CoPilot - General Release
Hello all, Excited to start working with CoPilot. It appears this is not generally available at the moment. Is there a release date planned for this? Thanks - Euge

Microsoft has left one crucial detail out of most of their marketing and documentation surrounding the 365 Copilot licenses. The $30.00 add-on license will require the customer to have a minimum of 300 E3 or E5 licenses, and the customer must purchase a minimum of 300 Copilot add-on licenses. Therefore, it will cost a customer a minimum of $9000.00 a month to try out this service. No trial offers at this time, and smaller organizations are out of luck.

Need to add to that its on an EA, which has a minimum seat count for E3/E5, so you can buy it on CSP and I think the EA minimum is 500 seats of M365

Is there any official Microsoft information regarding this minimum seat requirement anywhere? It is really frustrating not being able to report back internally WHY officially this isn't possible for SME after we went through the steps of purchasing E3 licenses..- Jasa76Nov 02, 2023Brass ContributorIf you look through the community posts someone has posted a screen shot of the documentation showing the 300 minimum. Also it has to be on EA not CSP.
- poupeeNov 02, 2023Copper ContributorI saw the screen shot but i would appreciate an official Microsoft site showing these limitations or requirements. I can't find the specifications from Microsoft anywhere officially. "Generally available" just doesn't quite make it clear. Enterprise customers as well as E3 is an Enterprise license isn't it?
