Multi-Geo Scenario | Solution Required

Happy day community,

We are an Indirect Provider in CSP program & we want to raise a hypothesis scenario including the new Multi-Geo product.

So for example, let's say that you have a customer/reseller with 2 different tenant. The Primary tenant is being located in EU and the second tenant is being located in USA. If we need to consolidate these two tenant under one tenant, could you please englighten us on the specific steps required to fulfill this need?

Kindly asking to make this as a productive dialogue, as we are fully aware of the documentation around this topic. Please share your view on the above scenario.

Thank you in advance for your significant input!

Best regards,
Nick

  • Unfortunately, tenant support/guidance is out of scope for licensing, pricing, and incentives.

As a friendly reminder, please review the "welcome" post that I've pinned at the top of this page for clarification on how the Licensing Concierge can assist.

I see that you've asked for clarification of the specific steps required to consolidate tenants; however, you also stated that you're already aware of the documentation.

Therefore, I'd like to clarify how I can assist as Licensing Concierge? Or, is this post intended for engagement with other Partners suggestions/ideas/experiences?

Also, may I ask what "new multi geo product" you're referring to?

      Dear LicensingConcierge1

I would appreciate your reply as a resolution on my question without just sharing "learn" links. This is why I mentioned that we have gone through the documentation.

Kindly asking to provide us with a reply on the scenario you have just copied above. It would be much more helpful to have a handy reply in line, rather than links. Thank you for understanding!

      Best regards,

      Nikos

        Hi nick_Anag

To clarify, as Microsoft's Licensing Concierge, I am available to:

        • Provide guidance to the correct information and provide best practices and tips on how to better locate content related to CSP licensing questions.
        • Clarify the licensing policies and procedures for products & services under the CSP program.
        • Clarify promotions, pricing, and incentives under the CSP program.
        • Report discrepancies in Microsoft Licensing Guide and/or other Microsoft documentation.

In addition to the documentation that you mentioned that you have on your scenario and engagement with experienced Partners here on the CSP community, you may want to consider purchasing an Action Pack where you will be provided with technical advisory hours, including personalized guidance from Microsoft technical consultants, to help you with onboarding, presales, or deep technical scenarios. Microsoft Action Pack

If you require my assistance as outlined above, please let me know as I'm happy to help.

        Hope this clarifies!

        Regards,

        Microsoft CSP Licensing Concierge
