We're updating our Ad Insight API to provide you with a better keyword planner experience. As part of this process, we'll stop supporting some legacy and low-usage APIs and features that are no longer aligned with our quality and service.
The following will be deprecated as of August 21, 2023.
Service operations related to legacy Ad Insight Keyword APIs:
- GetKeywordCategories Service Operation
- GetKeywordDemographics Service Operation
- GetKeywordLocations Service Operation
- GetKeywordIdeaCategories Service
These APIs were released with a discontinued mobile app install (MAI) tool. They have low usage and high maintenance costs. They won't be compatible with the new REST API interface that we are migrating to.

“Your Product Category” in Keyword Planner (Find new keywords):
This feature is based on an outdated offline table, only available in English, and does not reflect the current market trends and user behavior, so we'll deprecate it in the Microsoft Advertising web UI as well.
